My intention is for this blog to be a visual diary or representation of ideas and things that engage, excite and enrage me about the media, marketing, PR, advertising, social media industries and anything else that takes my fancy.
I am 22 and on the cusp of graduating from my Communications/Public Relations degree at RMIT University in Melbourne. I’m aching to travel and see the world and my short-term career goal is to work at an integrated communications agency in New York working across marketing, advertising and PR.
I think I embody many of the contradictions of Gen Y. I’m well informed, I’m politically engaged and I like to think that I have a strong social conscience however I struggle with an insurmountable and irrational appetite to buy and consume like many others my age.
I have a lot to say, some of which I hope will be interesting and intelligible.
